Prehistoric Evolution
Most of the life forms and different types of animals devloped much before the humans and some of them even became extinct before the humans came into being.Evoulution of human beings began around 7,000,000 B.C and continued till 1,50,000 B.C when the first species of humans called Homo Erectus involved.It is believed that this evolution took probably on Africa.The first form of humans were called Homo Habilis.These creatures built and lived in shelters and made tools out of stone.The first true persons to live on the earth were the the Neanderthals,they were of the same speices as the modern man but were smaller in heights.These people lived between 1,20,000 to 35,000 years ago.It was probably from Africa that the humans to the other parts of the world.The Neanderthals were more like humans as they wore rough clothes and made tools and weapons and knew use of fire.The first modern people evolved probably around 50,000 B.C and were called Homo Sapiens. It was from this stage that the real devlopment began.This period was followed by the New Stone Age.Various civilisations followed by this.

Crops of the world
Let's gain some knowledge about different types of food.
GROUND NUTS are grown in many parts of the world,in some countries they are eaten after being roasted and salted.Oil is also extractedfrom these nuts and are used as a cooking medium in many countries.Besides this it is also used as animal feed.
WHEAT is a very impoetant grain crop mostly in the temperate regions and in some monsoon areas as a winter crop.
SUGAR BEET grows in deep and rich soil in a temperate climate and most of it is grown in Europe.
RYE is an important food stuff in North Asia and Eastern Europe and is the hardest of the cereals.Poland is the largest producer.
BARLEY is largely used as animal feed or by the breweries and malt industury.It can be harveseted within 8 weeks of harvesting.

Singing & Opera
During the middle ages priests and monks sang holy songs as they wandered preaching religions.The capability in the human beings to be able to modulate their voice have inspired many song writers and composers.Many men and women can sing at a very deep and rich sounds.It was in the 17th century that opera originated in Italy and spread to the other parts of the world.As this happened new forms of singing devloped and spread to the other parts of the world.As this happened new forms of singing devloped and by the end of the 18th century professional singers were entertaining audiences all over the world.In an opera all the words are sung by the character.Some of the operas are composed by some composers like Mozart,Puchinna,Wagner and Verdi.Singing also devloped for a different reason.Before the engine was invented all labour was done manually by men.To maintain a rythm while working these men use to chant songs called Chanties or Shanties.These chanties were especially popular with sailors.

Ballet
More than 300 yeares ago with the combination of dance,music and mime,began a dance form called ballet.It was originally performed only by men and it was only in the late 17th century that women began performing ballet.In this form of dance each movement is performed in advance with the flow of music,this planning is called choreography.Ballet dancers wear special shoes which have blocked toes,this allows them to walk and dance on their toes.Balancing on the toe is called Pointe work and requires a lot of skill.Ballet dancers practice for years befora they perfect in this skill.Ballet dancing has changed over the years,in the beginning of the 20th century dancers of the classical styles,like Isadora duncan,began dancing in a more informal and natural style.This was the beginning of the modern ballet.Over the years more ballet dancers and choreographers studied the movement of the classical ballet and adapted it to the modern ballet.one of the greatest ballerians was Anna palova who was born in Russia in 1881.Ballet is a very beautiful dance form.

Birthday as the term implies is the annivarsary of a day when a person is born.In many legal systems one bacomes a legal adult on particular birthdays such as 18 or 21.Many religions have more than one particular birthhday.Jewish boys have a bar mitzvah on or around their 13th birthday.Jewish girls have a bat chayal on or around their 12th or sometimes on or around their 13th birthday.In Hispanic countries a quinceanera is traditionally celebrated on a girl's 15th birthday.Some girls and a few boys in United states have a sweet sixteen birthday party.In some Asian countries 14th birthday of a girl or boy remarks of being adult in a society.In Idia the 12th or 13th birthday is replaced through a thread ceremony.The birthday cake has been an integral part in western countries since18th century.The tradition of litting candles on birthday cake started in Germany in 19th century.Birthdays are like occasions when all of us are together.

Animals tortured
In Orissa thousands of Oliver Ridley turtles are cught up in the nets of trawlers doing illiegal fishing and suffocated to death.In Rajasthan,Gujrat and Madhya pradesh,spinal tailed lizards are sold in markets as medicine.Frogs are thrown back after their legs are chopped off.Hundreds of birds and animals are mindlessly killed during the animal tribal hunt.Cruelty of animals in spite of a lot of hue and cry about wildlife protection is on increase.More than 50,000 chemicals used in the manufacture of cosmetics are tested on animals like rabbits,pigs,rats,monkeys.About 10 million animals are killed during experimentation.Only the people can save the animals from the needless pain and death.It is the time when we have to save these animals.Animals and wildlife are a preciuos gift by god.Let's love and conserve them.

History of Diamonds
Diamond as we know is the hardest substance in this world.It is used in making jwelleries and many more things.It has also its history.The word diamond is derived from greek.But was first found in India 6000 years ago near the rivers Pennar,Krishna,Godavari.Diamonds have been treasured as gemstones in India for its religion icons.Diamond has a windgap of 225 nm meaning that pure diamond should transmit visible light and look like a clearless crystal.Diamonds can be identified by their high thermal conductivity.The formation of natural diamond requires exposure of carbon bearing materials at the temperature of 900-1300 C.This condition can be found only at two places.In lithospheric mantle and meteriote strike.Diamonds are very shiny and have took place in our everyday life.
